Web 2.0 techniques for Art Education

Hi Everyone:
I am working on a few projects that want to use web 2.0 tools to get converstaions started about works of art. Has anyone used a blog as a tool for school children? Is there any advice that you would give to someone starting a similar project for the first time?
Thanks!

Hi Rachel, We have a kind of Web 2.0 tool on our website: myVirtualGallery. We are planning to add more social tools to it in the next version (next year, hopefully) but for now at least it allows people to create a new resource out of our collection and add it to our website. (Read more about the project.)
We are also interested in starting a blog, initially as a way for students who have met each other through an outreach program to keep in touch.
